The Role

My client is a dynamic and fast growing new media business specialising in web design, content management and email marketing. They are looking for an experienced Channel Manager who can win business by building successful long term relationships with business partners such as media agencies, creative agencies, data brokers and direct marketing agencies. Your duties will include;

• Using an existing contact network to identify sales opportunities for the company
• Building a professional working relationship with the introducers and resellers
• Providing full tendered reports
• Working with the existing account management team

You will work very closely with the board and the technical team where you will be expected to contribute to strategic as well as technical and creative ideas.

Established for over 8 years my client has experienced exceptional growth through referral business and agency introductions. Since achieving 50% growth in 2006/2007 the directors have configured a clear plan on how to drive the business even further forward over the next 3-5 years. The successful candidate will be a key player in these plans.

Key Experience

You will have a minimum of three to five years industry experience and an ability to understand the business and technical aspects of a web design and email marketing is vital. As the successful candidate you will have extensive experience of selling into the creative services industry and will be able to hit the ground running day one with all your personal contacts. You will be target driven and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage creative ideas and technical skills required to the business cases for successful pitches. Good interpersonal skills are also a must, along with self-confidence and excellent presentation skills. You will be a proven professional who is highly organised with an eye for detail and acute business acumen with a desire to succeed and progress both yourself and the company.
